USDT converter

Convert between USDT and your local currency at our live reference rate.

Each direction uses its own rate

You have local currency and want USDT

Uses the buying rate. You are buying USDT, so the rate that applies is the one people buy USDT at. We divide your amount by that rate to get the USDT you would end up with.

You have USDT and want local currency

Uses the selling rate. You are selling USDT, so the rate that applies is the one people sell USDT at. We multiply your USDT by that rate to get the local currency you would end up with.

Buying USDT and selling USDT happen at different rates, so converting an amount across and back does not return quite what you started with. That difference is real, not a rounding error.

Frequently asked questions

How do I convert my local currency to USDT?

Divide the amount you hold by the rate for buying USDT. If that rate were 4 per USDT, 1,000 of your local currency would convert to 250 USDT. The converter above does this for you at our current reference rate.

How do I convert USDT to my local currency?

Multiply your USDT by the rate for selling USDT. If that rate were 4 per USDT, 1,000 USDT would convert to 4,000 of your local currency.

Why do I get a different answer converting back?

Because buying USDT and selling USDT do not happen at the same rate. Converting an amount into USDT and straight back returns slightly less than you started with. That is the real cost of crossing the market twice, not an error in the calculation.

Is this the exact rate I will get?

No. It is a reference rate that reflects the market at the time shown, not a quote from any particular counterparty. What you are actually offered depends on who you trade with, the size of your trade and your payment method.

How current is the rate?

Each currency shows when its rate was last refreshed, and the converter says so plainly when a rate is older than usual rather than presenting it as current.

This is a reference rate, not a quote. It reflects what the market was doing when we last refreshed it, and the price you are actually offered will depend on who you trade with, how much you are moving and how you pay.
